We fell in love with the islands during our first visit back in 2006, and we decided to purchase an apartment on the island of Boavista. We plan to spend many more holidays there in the future.
We stayed in the apartment for the first time in December 2010, and are now in a position to offer this lovely holiday apartment on the island of Boavista in the stunning Cape Verde islands available to rent. Closer Than You Think
Whatever your type of holiday, Cape Verde has something for everyone. From windsurfing to hiking, to just relaxing on a beach, you are sure to find your ideal holiday on one of these vastly differing islands. Described as the Caribbean without the hurricanes, these stunning islands are the perfect destination all year round. The average temperature is warmer than the Canaries, with less rainfall.
A few years ago, due to the difficulty in getting there, these islands were only visited by the rich, or by the odd hardy backpacker. Nowadays, with tourism beginning to take off, more airlines are starting to add Cape Verde to their list of destinations. This is great news for those who want to visit somewhere a bit different, at a price that won’t break the bank. With a flying time from the U.K. of around five and a half hours, visiting a tropical destination is now within the reach of everyone.
Don’t be expecting streets filled with noisy bars and disco’s. The atmosphere throughout this part of the world is most definitely relaxed.

The number of hotels is slowly growing. New bars and restaurants are opening their doors, and the number of tour and activity companys are increasing in line with the increased tourism.
